Yesterday looked like this:

Jamaican cornbread-black bean-tomato casserole with light sour cream

Homemade (thanks hubby!) black bean burger on whole wheat bun, grapes, green pepper strips dipped in hummus.

Cheese and whole wheat crackers, little bit of Chex Mix (nervous eating)

Broccoli bites, roasted eggplant and carrots and Sun Chips (I can’t wait til these are gone. I am weak to chips defenses…)

Workout: 30 minutes elliptical

Overall, not a bad day at all.

The big news this morning is my weigh in: 187.4!

Aw yeah! Down 2.2 pounds from last week. Excellent.

And now…comes the weekend. And that’s always the hardest. Plus, I have a birthday party to attend tomorrow and that means snacky food. Must. Be. Strong.

    Awesome news with the weigh in. What about if you had weigh ins on Monday or Tuesday, would that help you stay committed over the weekend?

    I know my weekend suck for eating, but I try to exercise more so balance it out.
